This week two junior players have been competing at the Head Waikato Tier 3 Tournament at the Waikato Tennis Centre.
Thando Thebe was in the U10 Competition and was runner up in the singles, beating the no 2 and no 3 seeds on the way to the final. Thando and his doubles partner came third in the doubles. Well done Thando on a great tournament.
Sebastian Kerr was in the U16 Competetition. Seb had three singles losses, and one win, and two losses in the doubles. With another year in this age group Seb was happy with how he played against higher ranked players.
