Hamilton Tennis Academy Newsletter – September

Hello everyone,

We have enjoyed an amazing winter term and almost finished with term 3. Summer is around the corner so time to book your tennis fix for term 4.

Here is some information about term 3, school holidays and signing up for term 4.

Term 3

Term 3 for juniors finishes on Saturday, September 12th.

Adult lessons will finish the week before on 5th of September except Monday 7pm class will have their last class on 7th of September. This might change if we have any rainy day cancellations before. You can always check the cover sheet if you are not sure.

Love Tennis

We have an open day at the club on the 13th of September.

What Happens on the Day

• Play Tennis – Have a hit, try something new, and enjoy games for all ages and abilities.
• Tennis Coaching – Get tips from our coaches, improve your skills and learn something new.
• Competitions & Challenges – Test your skills and have a go at fun tennis challenges.
• Prizes & Giveaways – Take part, have fun and you could walk away with some great prizes!
• BBQ & Refreshments – Enjoy a delicious BBQ, grab a bite to eat and catch up with friends and family.
• Fun for Everyone – Whether you’re a regular player, a beginner, or just curious about tennis, there’s something for everyone.
• Deals – Great deals for memberships, if you have been thinking about joining now would be a good time. Remember that you will also get discount of coaching if you are a member of St Peter’s tennis club.

School Holidays

The school holiday program for kids runs Monday to Friday, October 5th–9th, from 9am to 12pm.

Full week is $150 or $40 a day (2 day minimum). All kids aged 5 and older are welcome.

We will run a few sessions for adults as well, $15 per session (match play Friday is free for members of St Peter’s tennis club).

• Tuesday 6th of October — 6pm cardio tennis
• Thursday 8th of October — 6pm beginner plus, 7pm cardio tennis
• Friday 9th of October — 6:00–7:30 match play, all levels welcome

Term 4

Sign up for term 4 is open. You can check the schedule for juniors here and for adults here.

Notice that there are a few changes for Saturday schedule since the junior interclub will be on again. There will be no tennis on Labour weekend: Saturday, October 24th, and Monday, October 26th.

Pricing

I want to let you know about an upcoming change to the pricing for adult and kids tennis sessions.

Starting in Term 4, the price for adult tennis for non-members will increase to $150 for term (8 sessions) and for kids to $170 (9 sessions). This adjustment reflects rising costs for court facilities and equipment.

The price for members of St Peter’s tennis club will remain the same: $120 for 8 sessions for adults and $135 for kids.

I truly appreciate your continued support and commitment to tennis. I value having you as part of the programme and hope you’ll understand the need for this adjustment.
